Charming boxes like these were sold at five-and-dimes and filled with candy and surprises. About the size of an index card, you'll have to think small when pondering a gift to include inside.
okay, so crazy crazy, but I just saw these in a magazine...a back issue, I do believe...of...oh, Country Living, Country Home...NO!! It was an old issue of Mary Englebreit Home Companion! Ha, my fuzzy brain actually remembered! And I fell in lovelovelove with them (as all things vintage Christmasy). Must go order one! Whoo-hoo!!
