happy new year!

Here we are at the beginning of a new year, 2007. Here's hoping it's a wonderful year for you, full of happy surprises, wonderment, and love.

Instead of making promises for changes that I don't really intend to make, I am going to make a proclamation. I declare that this is going to be a great year. Really wonderful things are coming for me this year. I'm ready for them. I will recognize them when I see them. I won't push them away with fear or negativity. I will graciously accept all of the good coming my way. And I will look for the message that each challenge presents.

So here we go. A New Year full of gifts and surprises and love. May the Lord give us the eyes to recognize the good in each day, every minute.

Amy, if there ever was a person who could see the bright side, it is you. I hope that all of the wonderful things that you wish for come to you this year.

Wishing you a great start to a great year!
I am going to take the advice of Asheville musician, Christing Kane (http://christinekane.com/blog/) and select one word to guide me through the new year. The word I am selecting is "CREATE" because I will be satisfied with the year if I can just get away from distractions enough to Create.
All my best to you in 2007!!!
