doll trunk

I've had this sweet doll trunk for a while now. I'm crazy about the circus print lining it.

When I was working out how to get everything to California for the Market Soiree it occurred to me that this would make an excellent display piece...and I could fill it up with stuff to make transporting stuff easier too.

I added a few shelves and, voila!

Amy,
That is perfect! That paper is one of my favorites right now...in fact I have some and have nothing in mind to do with it. What an adorable display piece! And a doll trunk! Too wondrous!

I found an antique suitcase at a garage sale for two dollars yesterday and I could not come up with that much change. I was so sad/mad!!! I drove by the house today but it was very quiet and looked like the owner collapsed. She wouldn't take my check...she wouldn't take anyone's check for that matter...I understand...but I had such dreams for it.

I must say that my dreams were not half as wonderful as having a vintage doll trunk and covering the back with the circus print!!!!

Have loads of fun at the soiree. I am hoping I can go to her next event in late spring/early summer next year.

Traveling mercies!
