Annette D asks...
What words is Baby saying nowadays?
A. Baby is saying lots of things these days...Since the trip to California, he's been saying Papa & it sounds so sweet. He says Car and Baba (for bottle), Juice and Milk. He says No (always in multiples, as in...no, no, no!) He says Ball and Bubbles and Poo Poo (pinching his nose as he says it!) He also has a word for when he's super dooper excited, but we don't know what it is. He pumps his arms up in the air, gets a wild look in his eyes and exclaims "Baachee! Baaaacheeee!"
He also sings a lot of the songs we listen to in the car, but usually only when it's the two of us. I think he gets a little embarrassed for Rich to hear. They are mostly kiddie songs but there is one grown-up song that he's awfully fond of...it's Mercy by Duffy. He sings the back up part and he dances this really slow squatty dance. It is the cutest thing in the world to see.
aww! how cute!! xoxo Britt :-)
So cute! make for absolutely SURE you get this on camera. It goes by so quickly. There are several moments I fondly remember that I can kick myself for not getting around to capturing it on video.
I love it when babies sing "grown up" songs. Buddy Budderson used to sing Rod Stewart's "Broken Arrow" to me from his carseat!
such an adorable post....
