home

I just got the word...my father is coming home from the hospital today. I think he's still weak but he's recovered from his illness remarkably well.

And just in time...my brother and his family are moving in with my parents this weekend. They'll stay there while their house is being built.

Seth's first day of kindergarten is coming soon....maybe even next week? It's fun to think of him living with my parents during this important time, catching the bus the same place we caught the bus when we were young.

Thank you again for all your prayers and thoughtful words for my father. I'm so glad he's better. What a relief.

Today, I'm going to try to tackle the workroom that I started to do last week.

What wonderful news about your father! Your brother will be able to help a lot so that your mother won't get too worn out.

It is so wonderful to hear that your father is going home. When you posted your photo of him widdling a few weeks back, I was instantly taken back to the memory of a man who approached my daughter and me in a store when she was about five. He said he had a little something for her and pulled out a widdled Santa Clause face with wonderful detailing. It couldn't have been more than an inch and a half but it was magical. We got a glimpse into that man's heart that day, so in a fairy tale sort of way, I felt as if your dad was familiar. God bless you and yours.
