quick

Ever since Teresa announced that the theme for the vendor fair of Silver Bella is to be aprons, I've been thinking about aprons. I don't sew so I needed to think of a way to make an apron without really sewing.

When I saw this (Forever 21)

this (also at Forever21)

The gears started turning. I did some simple mathematics and came up with this...

All done during today's naptime...with time enough left over to photograph and blog it for you to see.

Happy weekend everybody!

Awesome apron! I applaud your quick thinking and clever resourcefulness. PERFECT for Silver Bella! Also, just a note to say that I, too, have gotten teary in the same circumstances. I remember the sun ray just hitting my leg and feeling so WARM - great family time, John Denver and sunshine -- (even if it WASN'T on my shoulder, lol!)
Have a super weekend and hugs -
Betty :)

Your apron is similar to the one I plan to wear on Vendoe Night. I am a first-timer and a non-sewer. I am using a fluffy skirt that my 11 year old does not like, but I have always adored. I hope mine comes out as lovely as your's.
