a love story, illustrated

This little sampler project started out as something to keep my fingers busy as I fretted and worried and counted down the days...

But the more I worked, the more it told a tale...
a story of love's journey.

a story of home.
a tale of risking the hardness of the stone to taste the sweetness of the fruit.
of how sweet life is,
thick with texture,
or as delicate as a breeze.
a story of a little miracle.and a wish that we dared not wish

a story of love.
the love of a very special little boy.

To our sweet little Alfredo.

Our hearts sing your song.

We love you.

So beautiful, Amy. The last little box really sums it all up. What a blessed life you have, enjoy every moment of it.

I always check in to see what you are up to, though I don't always leave a comment, your creativity is so inspiring...I actually started my own little embrodiery - using your brilliant ideas as my guide! My little girl even wanted in on the fun...when she finishes up her creation, I'll send you photos of both! :)
