revision

Everyday when I looked at the arrangement of stuff above the sofa in the living room, something nagged at me. It just didn't seem right. Maybe it was Rich's sticker comment...but it just seemed like too much of a jumble with no room for your eye to move. And it got worse everytime I looked at it. It just looked more like a mistake.

So today, I stripped off the wall sticker (it's repositionable so I'll find another place for it) and I'm starting over...for now it's just a merry little neighborhood and the cuckoo clock.

I have about a month to get the house ready. Today we are going to the car show to look for a new bigger car. And I have to paint Pinky's room (pink of course!), get the kitchen fixed up with some sweets shoppe inspired decor, and fix up the family room to make it ever-so kid friendly. Pam's coming over next week to help with painting the room. Yay!

I stopped in at Red Shoes when I was in Ann Arbon on Saturday. I purchased the cutest frame that sorta looks like an old wire gate.

I do like your wall better...not that I didn't like it before.

Isn't life just the fullest! Three kids will sure keep you busy.

I Like the wall both ways, but I have to say, I absolutely loved it with the adorable "wall sticker"! It had a very whimsical look :)

That cuckoo clock is so fabulous! Sounds like your nesting is going well. Can't wait to see photos of Pinky's room when it is done!

Its really wonderful how you are creating such a magic place for this little folks. They have obviously had a rather tough time of it, and coming to stay with you will be like stepping into a fairy tale!

Are you planning to check out the Ground Hog day sale at Lucketts this weekend. I remember that Bee Keepers Cottage has some wonderful pink pretties perfect for a little girls room.....

Have you checkout out anthro's new art? I wonder if all stores are the same? I was in a store in Vegas and it was all housey----like your sweet shacks but black and white with buildings on canvas behind. Love their installations, love your style. I bet this month will fly by for you!

I love the houses! I really liked the tree, too. What a fun and fresh home you have! Do you know in advance how long you will have the kids? How exciting. An instant houseful. Congratulations.

Amy, I'd Love to Help you! Let me know if you need names signs, or something special for the wee ones rooms. I really don't do the signs anymore but this would be special!

I have been drooling over that wall since you posted it, I'm sure no matter what you decide it will be fantastic! BTW - I am sure you already have gotten this, but I wanted to nominate you for the kreative blogger award (just in case), you provide such wonderful inspiration & eye candy with each post. Thank you! :)

The houses are adorable but they don't just remind me of Catherine's houses, they are a very blatant rip-off. I hate to see that being rewarded.
