These are so intriguing and utterly charming! I wish someone had written them to me!

That is so great! Thanks for sharing. We moved into a house where the owner before the one selling put an addition to the back. They found a whole bunch of letters and passed them to the new owner (who we were buying from). Unfortunately, they were not passed on to us. The granddaughter of the builder stopped by once and I wish I had them to give to her.

anyway - this is so cool. I love reading old letters. Thanks for posting them!

It would be neat to copy and embroider a neat sentence :)

I don't know about anyone else, but trying to decipher what this poor soul is trying to get across to 'dearest sugar' is poor torture to my non comprehending brain. Haven't a clue... lol

Love it. I have a big box of love letters from an old beau circa 1983-84. He lived on the other side of the country for a time and I received mail every other day. I can see someone else in awhile (a long while...)being intrigued by that story...Letters are lovely.

Oh, I must begin signing my letters "Yours Only." Is there follow-up letter? Did she keep the letters or perhaps they were returned to him? Intriguing. We need Nancy Drew! Thank you for sharing.
