Today marks 10 years of wedded bliss. I don't know how I got lucky enough to find him or how he got lucky enough to find me. Maybe it wasn't luck at all, but God's hand guiding us through mistakes and heartbreaks and loneliness, sweetly and gently into each others arms.Someone asked me the other day to give the secret to our happy marriage. I think, undoubtably, it is this...be best friends and treat each other like best friends. It's not me against him. It's the two of us together, hand in hand, caring always for each other.
I sure do love you, Rich. Thank you for being so easy to love. Happy ten years...here's to the next ten being just as sweet.

Congratulations. My husbband and I just celebrated 20yrs on May 1. Many people who have not known us for very long were shocked to hear the number. It seems that in this day/age anything beyond 5 or 6yrs is surprising. Your philosophy on "caring" for each other is one we subscribe to, also. I wish you, at the least, a happy ten to twenty more.

Our 15th anniversary is May 9. Many days we remark at how long it feels (we're old souls) and yet how quickly it's passed. Being best friends has made it worthwhile.
