Amy, thank you so much for taking us on your vacation -- speaking for myself, I soo needed one. Your photos are afabulous, you look darling -- I see that cute new green jacket which looks darling on you. All these shops and views and stories take my breath away. Oh, my friend Linda,(Oblique Angles) grew up in Berkley. Thanks, Jenny

Loving the hat!
I waved but it was foggy the last two mornings...ah well!
Isn't Carmel adorable? CArme; Valley is home to some of the most wonderful cottage gardens...and this being flower season (before the heat hits) is the perfect time to sneak some peeks. Enjoy Hogsbreath...SO much fun on Fridays. Nothing better than drinking California wine IN California (wink wink)!!

On your way down the coast check out Madonna Inn and Hearst Castle.

Ooooh the memories. We went to Carmel for our honeymoon! I remember walking down the street and seeing Tuck Box (or is it House...) and begging my sweet husband to take me to lunch there. I love it! You make me want to go back!! There is an amazing book about the architect who did the Tuck and many other houses in the are with a walking map to go see them all. I'll need to look up the title. It is my favorite token from our trip.
