envelope book

I just finished making the envelope book and couldn't even wait for parts to dry before showing you.

I used mostly papers and embellishments from Brenda Walton's Dollhouse line. It was so much fun working with these fun papers and patterns and things.

This is so cute! I love the idea, but I'm afraid I don't have nearly as much talent as you. I'll just have to wait until you offer them at your store, so I can buy one. :)

Cute...very cute. Love every page. Appropriate that you would show us before the glue dried...since you are one who can't keep a secret.
Sort of fits.

If you're fond of John Steinbeck's writing, you have to stop by the Steinbeck center in Salinas. It's on the way south from San Francisco to Carmel. Monterrey is also gorgeous. You can see "Cannery Row" that Steinbeck wrote about as well as the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Enjoy your trip! I love that part of CA!

have a FAB trip!

What a bright idea to make the book FIRST, then fill it in. I usually come home with bits and bobs from a holiday that end up collecting dust because I keep forgetting to put them in a scrapbook.

Happy Anniversary!

It is absolutely gorgeous here!! We'll hit anywhere from 85-90 degrees today (a bit more chilly up in the city and along the coast). With the bit of wind we have to blow away the fog, you should have a stunning Hwy 1 drive!! Gas prices are through the roof...$3.70/gal, so be prepared for sticker shock. California poppies/wild flowers, roses, peonies and spring flowers are in full bloom and it is green green GREEN!
PERFECT timing for a trip!
