life is good...

We're back from California with Alfredo.

I feel like I'm in a dream...how can this really be happening? And I think Alfredo feels the same way. I can see him trying to work things out in his mind. He's so happy though. So happy. And so are we.

Here's a picture my friend Amy in Petaluma took of us at the park.

More later.

Trust your heart. I was briefly in foster care and later adopted by a different family - and I firmly believe that the love I received from my foster family is what saved me many years down the road. I am so happy for all of you.

So very happy for you. I think you are an inspiration ... I think the offer that Alfredo's father has given you shows how amazing you both must be as foster parents. Alfredo is beautiful.. and so lucky to have so many loving adults in his life.

I have learned that life is about "moments"...and every moment is a memory. Take all of these "moments" and cherish them. We rarely get a second chance at true happiness. You have that second chance with this truly special little boy. True love knows no boundaries. Enjoy every expierience as that is what makes a memory. Also remember, a child doesn't remember the toys they were given..they remember the love they were showen.
sending great memories your way...
