my daddy

My parents just left...it was such a nice visit.

My father spent his mornings and afternoons out on the deck carving this eagle for my cousin. Can you believe how lovely the feathers are looking? Isn't it wonderful?

And I just love this photo of my father that Alfredo shot...isn't it fun? I love the angle of it and the banner in the background...too cute.

Your dad, seen through the eyes of a child. How special is that? Alfredo will be blogging anyday now...

Oh, Amy, I'll bet your dad just has the time of his life with Alfredo! I love it when little ones take photos.... we need to see life from their perspective more often. ;0)

I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit with your family...I always enjoy visits from my family to..That eagle carving is just amazing...He did such a great job...He should sell them..My son would be the first to buy...He collects eagles and has them all over his room...
Hope all is well..

My dad was an artist (although he would never own that title), too. I think of him in each artistic and creative endeavor. Enjoy him- quite handsome, too!

Your dad is to cute! I'd like to agree with katydiddy, "your Dad, seen through the eyes of a child" that was my very first thought when I read the post. So so sweet, and what a blessing from the Lord that you can have these memories. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. I love seeing how things have turned out for you. I am still lifting you all up in prayer. Judi

There is just something wonderful about the photos that little kids take. I still have the shots that Buddy and Loopy each took when they were about that age - on real film, no less! Alfredo has a good eye!

The most charming part is the way your dd appears to be looking at him through the camera lens... adoration.
