treat yourself...

I got back Sunday from Silver Bella (the very best yet...review to come!) feeling a bit sluggish. I blamed it on the late nights and early rises. But when I awoke on Monday with a throat on fire and a fever, I knew it was more than that.

Luckily there was nothing urgent on my list of junk to do. Alfredo and I have spent the last two days with me cuddled up on the sofa and him playing doctor.

And if that's not medicine enough, I had the most delicious magazine to pore over, memorize and devour...

You must treat yourself to the same. You will love it. I promise. It will spill your inspiration cup over with exciting ideas for the holiday.

Here's my very favorite thing in the whole magazine...

 Can you stand it?
I want to move right in...I really do. Fruit Stripes for the roof? Pez candy bricks for the chimney? Candy necklace gutters? I feel faint.

So for those of you who said you missed holding magazines in your hands, may I suggest that you get yourself a copy of this beautiful magazine, printed exquisitely on the most lovely paper.

When I can gather enough pictures from my friends (I took none...gasp!) I will fill you in on just how wonderful Silver Bella was.

Amy I came home with the same sore throat! I know we sat across the table from each other in a couple classes! I hope you get to feeling better soon. I am just trying to ignore it! ANyway I was so glad to finally get to meet you and share in some of the same classes. I have a great picture of you holding up the 2 wood pictures you made in Lynn's class. I will try to have them up on the blog next week. Thanks again for sharing in the fun at Silver Bella 2010!

I bet your 'doctor' is taking excellent care of you. I am glad your back, even more glad that you had a wonderful time, and even more excited to see what all you made. And if you can, get yourself some Puff's tissues with Vick's. (THey are the best thing ever. They come in a blue/green box.) And take it easy!!!! Love Bethanie with blond hair who likes to read from Sevierville TN

Get well soon, sweetpea!
I was feeling sluggish too for the same reasons and it took me a couple of days to lose the stress lines and puffy eyes and black circles.....
Love, Colette xoxo

Hey Amy, it's Lovie! Like you, I am loving my issue of "Holiday" and getting inspired all over the place.

Silver Bella sounds like heaven on crafters' earth. Every year I hope to attend and every year something comes up to prevent it. Thankfully it is always something good though.

I have not been in the lovely state of VA since July, but everytime I am there, I think of you. All my Virginia family will be here tommorow and will be here for over a week! I am so excited. It will be the first year in a while that everyone has been in one place. I think a family picture is in order.

Alfredo is the most handsome of boys. A real heart melter. I know he melts yours everytime you look at him.

I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving and a most happy and merry and spirtual of Chrismases.

Love.
Lovie

So happy to meet you at Silver Bella! It was a fabulous time, but I think many of us came home with the "travel crud." Glad you're feeling better. I'm awaiting my issue of the Holiday magazine - hope it will be in my mailbox today. And let me say again that I LOVE your on-line mag. So many great ideas and it's put together so well!
