pancakes

Read the pancake story on Susan Branch's site. It's a wonderful story...it made me think of how even the smallest things can impact a child's life forever.

Oh what an amazing, touching story! The coincidence, well, that's just incredible....but the thought of that small girl, finding solace in a friend's home every morning, escaping her painful life because a mother was generous and welcomed & fed her every single day. Wow.

This IS what is important in our lives...connecting. Amy, thank you for sharing this!

Wow, thanks for pointing me to that. I've not visited Susan's site in awhile and I'd missed that story. Incredible the circles God creates in our lives, isn't it? Profoundly beautiful!

Thanks so much for sharing that story. After a long week of my son bringing a house full of friends home every day after school, I had asked him if they could play somewhere else today and your story came at the perfect time. I really should be happy that I've made a home that my kids and friends want to play at. Susan has been such an inspiration to me since her first cookbook was published years ago. I even got to meet her a few years ago myself. Thanks again.
