nice work, if you can get it

The little ones are all napping on this beautiful Spring-y afternoon. I napped too and I have that lovely foggy just-after-a-nap feeling. After this, I'm going to have a cup of tea and a little bit of chocolate.

I smiled to myself when I set this little guy to work shoveling frosting on a {fake} cupcake and I thought you might like it too.

I think this afternoon I'll start work on a top-secret project...something pretty exciting and new for me. I have a lot of quiet lapwork to do, something easily done while watching the little ones play all around me.

I'm feeling pretty good...even though there were lots of episodes, I kept it together and managed to solve problems with such finesse it was as if I were holding a magic wand.
Now where's that lovely cup of tea?
p.s. I have the best news ever. I can't wait to tell you.

Although I've never met you, I've been following you for several months now and I just had a "WOW" moment for you regarding these wee ones that you're caring for. It's going to be a tough road but I think you have what it takes to put some positive stuff into those young lives - for however much time you have them for. You certainly are surrounded by 'well-wishers' and 'way-to-goers'! Consider me one of them! :-) On my Facebook I just mentioned that, although the book title "Parenting Isn't for Cowards" isn't a new one, this week it feels like a fresh, raw truth for me & that's after 22+ years of it. It's the toughest, most wonderful adventure that there is.

I just read your Baby story in one read. Going to have a good cry now. You have signed up for a big job with your three toddlers. I adopted two toddlers seven years ago. Three...Oy! Maybe some day when my nest is empty, I will think about fostering...if my heart can take it. God Bless!

Hi,
I adore your pink chair from Target, what is the exact name of it? Did you buy it just recently?
Thank you so much.

The peep into your kitchen with the cupcake and Mr. Shovel Man made me ever so more curious about the new kitchen plans...Of course, with all the doings in Pinkie's room, I'm sure you haven't even touched the kitchen....Goodness knows you're only one person! Never the less, you did peak my curiosity!

God bless you with your new little trio...

I'm so glad things are going better for you now, not feeling so overwhelmed and all. You'll transition just fine to your new life. The little ones are so very fortunate to have you, and you are very BRAVE to open up your heart again, when the pain from baby is still so fresh. I really admire what you are doing, and how you are doing it.
Lots of love to you, Amy
