Hello, sweet friends! Don't you just love all the wonderful things Saucy and Loopy have cooked up? I really can't get enough of the fabulous miniature ironing boards and I'm so glad she made a few to share with you. (that's not a giant penny, in case you were wondering!)
Saucy first made these ironing boards (with the help of her genius father) for Club Little House and it was such a hit. Nearly every member emailed me privately with a wink saying they'd really appreciate it if I could please put one in their package. Since there were just 12 (and 48 members), there were more than a few disappointed folks.
Speaking of Club Little House, what do you say we have another round? Are you up for it?
There are a couple of changes. One of which is the fee for membership...it'll go up to $25. It's quite a leap, I know, but I hope it won't be a deterrent. There will be two groups of 12 this go-around. The first 11 slots will be open to everyone...beginning 12:00 noon EST, Friday September 26. The other 12 openings will be juried. If you are interested, send your proposal for your littles idea to me via email, along with photos or illustrations or plans. What I'm looking for is not just a fabulous idea but clear evidence that you've thought it through and are excited about it. Juried members are also expected to pay the membership fee of $25.
Never heard of Club Little House? It's a swap idea that I dreamed up a couple of years ago. Members each make 12 dollhouse size littles (12:1 scale, meaning that each inch represents a foot in real life) and send them off to me. I divy them up into packages of 12 unique dollhouse miniatures and send them back to each member. Everyone has lots of fun along the way and your dollhouse will be forever changed. (It's not required that you have a dollhouse...these miniatures are just as fun to display on a shelf or to create your own little world in a corner somewhere.
Here are some images from past exchanges...

Loopy's Halloween bag and tag book is so sweet, it makes me excited for the trick or treating kiddos coming knocking, and carving the pumpkin!

Miss Loopy it is soo cool that you and your mom do so much together!!! I love looking at all of your photo shoots! And I had to make youngest a pair of "travelling pants" after seeing yours.
Saucy, Amy, Loopy, I would love to own one of Loopy's very own brown bag albums! I make them also, but started much later in life!

These Halloween tag books would be GREAT for my 2 girls who just started going trick-or-treating a few years ago. This is their favorite Holiday! Who wouldn't remember all the 'candy' you get just by going door-to-door!! Especially for a 3-yr old & 5 yo!!
Oooh... those Halloween Bag and Tag books are awesome! Great job Miss Loopy!! I would be honored to get one! Thanks so much for the opportunity.
Those miniatures are fantastic:) I make dolls and mini masks and painted canvases to go along with them. There's no way I'd be able to come up with a dozen within your time limit but maybe next time. Those are very talented miniature artists!
I would love to win those Loopy bags..my son cant stop talking about trick or treating and he'd have fun with these!
~Christine
That was almost more cuteness in one post than I can stand! Crossing my fingers!

How lucky I would be to receive one of Loopy's creations! My little girl is in 3rd grade this year, and would love to have a new project for her to do.
Found your blog a few months back and have been loving all the crafting inspiration.
I just moved back to my hometown and my mom and I got a table at a local craft sale. I'm so excited! It's my very first craft sale and we're bustin' out the creativity in preparations for Nov. 29th!
Miss Loopy does *wicked* work and I'd love to be included in the giveaway. My husband and I were set up by a friend on Hallowe'en (he was dressed as a pimp and I was a 50's poodle skirted gal) so I'd have a few great shots to plug into one of those beauties.

Living in Denmark were Halloween is a very recent tradition, I will be hosting my fist spooky party for the kids and their friends this year. I am going to mix up the American traditions a little as we do trick and treat for another ancient (around 300 years) tradition in February and I do not want to belittle that. However Halloween seems so much fun and I would LOVE to have this beautiful little album for the memories of our very first Halloween. Thank you for a great blog and a beautiful magazine (my favorite).
Hugs from Marina
