broken bone

Rich fell off a ladder yesterday while he was painting some trim around the windows. It was a windy day and the ladder started to fall away from the house. He landed squarely on his feet and broke his left heel bone.

We spent the bulk of yesterday waiting in the emergency room. This morning, he's in an incredible amount of pain, poor guy. And last night was not a good night for sleeping.

I'll check in again once my patient is fairly happy and comfortable. I'm doing my best.

Oh that's terrible! I hope it heels quickly! Heel pain is no fun (and I know, I wake up to it every morning). I can't imagine how he must be feeling with a broken heel bone.

Wish him the best and a speedy recovery!

I can't imagine having a more pleasant convalescence than one in your sweet home, Amy! I hope Rich enjoys all of the coddling nad attention he is sure to receive..and that he is a fast healer. Heaven knows what cute things you might cut and paste and sew to him if he sits still long enough....
