For the record, in case there is any doubt let me clear it up, I love comments. Let me further say...a blog without comments is not good. When I first started this blog, I checked regularly (and that's a nice way of saying every 2 minutes) to see if anyone left a comment. No one did. 0 Comments made me so sad everytime I saw it. So to spare myself from that hurt, I took off the comments.

First I got a few emails saying "how can I comment on your blog???" Then email after email came in saying "Please put comments back on your blog" Sooooo...they are back. But please, for the love of all that is holy and right, please leave comments. Even if it's just an "Amen sister" I promise that I will adore it. It will be like a gift to me and will make me very happy.

Amen Sister!

p.s. By my calculations only 1 in 1000 blog visitors leaves a comment. This is roughly true of every blog from DailyKos to Scrutiny Hooligans.

Amen and Amen! Happy to see the comments are open and ready for business. I'll be happy to comment - I'm not shy...

Amy,

Sometimes I read blogs each day and NEVER comment. It is a way for me to quietly relish the creativity, energy, and inspiration that comes from others incredible minds! I may NEVER comment on anything in your blog from this point on, but know that I enjoy it enough to visit everyday. This is because I consider you a fantastic entreprneur, a terrific friend, and a suprisingly good writer... you bring back a lot of precious memories - mine seem to be similar to yours.

Keep up the lovely blog. It compliments your site nicely, and it inspires me - and isn't that the whole point?

Yeah for comments! Love your site and your blog. I'm the same way...very sad to log on, or hit refresh for the 1,200th time and still see 0 comments. Happy Monday :)

Aw, this is cute. I do the same thing on my blog. I can't imagine a day where I get so many comments I no longer care to read them, but I dream for such a day anyway, tee hee. I just found your journal and have been enjoying the stories you tell. Thanks for sharing!

Well, now I feel better. You think about comments just like I do. And, I am just making you happy and not creeping you out in some sort of scary stalkerish fashion. I always think of comments as a mini-conversation between the blogger and her readers. Happy commenting.
