craft suitcase

So here's what I'm thinking about...I would love to take one of the small vintage suitcases I have and make it into an organized craft suitcase. I did a little search and found some inspiration.

Doesn't that look like fun? I'll let you know how it goes...

I have so been wanting to do this for myself for a long time! i am just not sure how to go about narrowing down all my stuff to fit inside a small suitcase. Hobby lobby has some wonderfull containers and such to hold small beads and parts. I thought of making tags to hold my ribbons and embroidery floss. Anyway can not wait to see what you come up with. You are so talented, and I love your color choices for the things you make. Vanessa

What a great idea! It'd be perfect for when my friends & I start doing more craft nights to have everything in one place!

Hello Amy,
I can't wait to see what you come up with. I have a cute vintage suitcase that was my Mom's and I have thought about doing something like this for quite some time -- I just haven't done it yet. As a very creative and wonderful seamstress, I know Mom would have loved the idea, too.

Great idea! My sister has just taken to sewing (I know, what took her so long!?!) and I am giving her a 'kit' for her birthday. Now I have also figured out the presentation!

I'm always packing my crafts to take in whatever plastic container is not being used at the time. Creating a dedicated craft suitcase is a great idea. Thanks for the inspiration!

These are just fabulous. I love having things neat and organized but it's so hard to keep things that way. These little gems would certainly help. Plus, you can have fun decorating the suitcase too!
