messy work

I'm having the best time making the cutest stuff and the biggest messes...all in preparation for the next issue of the magazine. You really won't believe the incredible talent of the contributors...their projects are so sweet and wonderful. I'm hoping you'll be so inspired that you'll drop everything to craft something immediately. That's my goal.

Meanwhile, I'm finishing up a sweet little Christmas sampler for the magazine...pulling pieces of thread from this nest. I think this photo might make some embroiderers out there cringe...the ones who have all their floss nicely organized on little cards in numerical order.

On the contrary. All the textures and colors make me want to delve into a new creative endeavor! Although, I would not want to be undoing all the tangles ;-)

Sweet Amy,
I'll bet you are busy with your new magazine. I cannot wait!!! I had to tell you this in case you missed it. I was reading Mary Engelbreit's blog and she talked about being inspired by you. I was in total awe!

So looking forward to seeing you at Silver Bella!

Big hugs,
Suz

Hi! I'm Kristie. I can't even remember how I found your blog. I'm glad I did. I'm just starting to get interested in embroidery and was wondering if you will be offering any of your kits soon. I'd love to snag one and give it a try.
