So I got this for Christmas last year...
And today Alfredo and I worked on them.
It was a perfect exercise for him to learn about following directions. I put the glue in the spots where the things generally belonged. He would reference the pictures, find the appropriate "part" and glue in into place.
With the exception of the whiskers and sequins (both a bit tricky...they kept getting stuck to his fingertips), he put all the parts together. As soon as we finished one, he wanted to make the next.
We made all 4 today and I wish we had more. I think I will make a homemade version, complete with instructions, for him. If I do, I'll share them with you too.
Until then, you can get this same collage kit here.
He is so proud of these "artworks" (that's what he calls them and anything he makes). I think I will frame them and hang them somewhere we will see them daily.

Alfredo is beaming...as well he should! What an incredible job he did and what a patient and creative Mama you are! I think framing a picture makes a child feel so special. I bet he will love it.
You are really filling him up, Amy.

What a great, happy photo of him. He is a lucky boy, and you are a lucky mom.
Those are too cute !
Oh yes, you must frame them and create a gallery! They will bring smiles everytime they are seen.
I love Alfredo's "artworks"-- he looks so happy! What a wonderful mommy-son project! So cute!
Oh my gosh, he has gotten soooooo big!
Hugs to you,
Sheila
He's such a cutie! And I love the collages.
Super Cute and made sublime by your little one's joy at art making! You are changing his life for the better.
What a great little project and its so darn cute to. Thanks for sharing the love~
Wonderful to see Alfredo so proud and happy with his creations! What a sweetie he is! You are a great Mom, Amy.
Cute stuff (kid & projects)! Makes me think of a homemade version of something similar---if you're looking for more pasting. :) I've drawn little stick figures and sat with friends' kids cutting out items of clothing from magazines & gluing them on. Not nearly as cute as your set, but a low-prep project to pull out to satisfy the cutting/pasting/arranging interests (of kid & mom).
Amy--He looks so big compared to the last time I saw him! What a handsome little guy!!! I can't wait for Noodlebug to get big enough to try a project like this!!!
