Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

At the last minute, on my way to dash out to Alfredo's school Valentine party, I got the idea to make a Valentine gift for his teachers...cherry soda (not wine even though it's called Cheerwine...read about it here) with a label that says "You're a pop star in my world".

I used a doodled frame from my friend Pam's Summer Doodle Bundle (found here).

Pam's actually teaching a doodle class this Spring at Handmade U. And it looks from Pam's latest blog post that she is making a special doodle from each student's name! Looks like so much fun!

Hope you have a very sweet Valentine's day! It's an extra special day for us because 16 years ago, Rich asked me to marry him!

Oh, how I would love to attend Pam's class! My mother recently attended a class called tangling and enjoyed it very much. She has been working with my daughter and teaching her as well. I live in the eastern panhandle of WV and whenever I am in Leesburg, I make sure to visit The Cottage. The shop provides inspiration for my next craft project. Thanks for sharing your blog and Happy Valentine's Day!

How cute are these??!! Remind me of your "Life is Short. Eat More Candy." jars a few Christmases ago. (An idea I "borrowed" and bestowed upon my nieces and nephews at Christmas, and is now a regular event each year. Fun!) xo

I love this idea! The retro look of the bottles, and of the labels is just so "cheery"! I'm up in Maine, where I've never heard of this soda, but I'd sure love to try it.

Its truly a great idea to give some gifts to your son's teacher on a Valentine's Day. I think that they would be very happy to receive it. I know that this simple gift is worth more than how it looks like.

As one of the teachers, we loved it! And of course, we LOVE Amy and Alfredo!
