a peak into my house...

I cleaned this weekend and finally took all of the Christmas decorations down. I know...I'm slow! Truth be told, the house has been upside down since after Thanksgiving. I don't think I ever fully recovered after cooking turkey for 25 people until perhaps this weekend.

Here's a corner in my sunny family room. I just love how the suitcases looked stacked up. They are full of ribbons and assorted crafting supplies and projects at various stages of completion.

This is my living room. The paint color was a bit of a mistake. Much too dark for me to like it very much. So I decided this weekend to try to lighten and brighten the room. The chintz floral tablecloth was a gift from my friend the Diva...Irene. I'll have to tell you about her someday. The watercolor above the sofa is of Stockholm, where we were for our fourth wedding anniversary. It was my present to Rich.

See this sweet little rabbit in her egg home? My wonderful friends Ann and Linda brought her back for me as a thank you for minding their shop.

Another shot from the living room.

I forgot to tell you...the old photo backs are from my very talented friend Mo Jackson She lets me use them as long as I tell you who made them.
