I'm pretty pleased with how this little project came together. It was cheap, fast and easy. I bought 4 magnetic dry erase boards from Walmart (I think they were just $7 each!) I attached them to a wall in the kitchen low enough for Baby to reach them both sitting and after he pulls himself up. Then, here's the best part, I bought a bunch of those painted wood shapes from Michael's. I attached adhesive magnetic strips to the back of each one. Now Baby can have fun rearranging and practicing his animal noises (You should hear his lion) Maybe we can tell him stories too using it like those felt boards of yesterday.
I had an email recently asking to see how the cupboard we bought for the television looked in the family room. I'm having fun finding fun toys and things to go on top of the furniture...I'd love to buy the big hot dog sign from my friends at The Cottage. At any rate, I need to add things to make it work better. And tell me, how much fun is that tent? I bought it last year (or the year before?)from Restoration Hardware after it was marked way down post-holidays. I can't remember how much it was but it was a bargain. It's a fun addition to the family room, at least while Baby is here.
So, two posts in one day?! Can you believe it? Hopefully this good start to the week will mean more blogging this week.
