Inside was a rosary. The card said that when they found her, while waiting for the authorities, they said the rosary for her. This brought us a great deal of peace, although we are not Catholic. To know that others cared enough about this girl they didn't even know, especially after the circumstances of her death, to do that for her and bring her a little peace. We decided our brother should keep it and he carries it with him always.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13359907.post-22483811482283662192007-10-07T20:49:00.000-04:002007-10-07T20:49:00.000-04:00sweet girl, i would love a rosary from your father...sweet girl, i would love a rosary from your father..how special, growing up catholic it was ingrained in us to say daily rosaries at school on our knees..i didnt like it back then but am so thankful for that catholic education now...please email me with details...thank~you
xox~kimdogfaeriex5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13339424908101092141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13359907.post-220228183933422172007-10-05T23:01:00.000-04:002007-10-05T23:01:00.000-04:00Kudos to your papa. Mine's missing a bead now, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

And cupcake, I know what you mean about the rosary being a wonderful sleep aid; I've fallen asleep with beads in my hands more times than I can count! I did not know your father makes rosaries, what a generous thing for him to do for his church. In my stash of unfinished projects are the makings of my own rosary with lovely beads I bought at the Tucson Gem and Mineral show a number of years ago. I need to dig all that out and get to it as you've inspired me. I'm not Catholic and have been using some Buddhist prayer beads but I think it's time to make my own set. It is indeed a lovely way to meditate as well as say your prayers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13359907.post-84012874733428816512007-10-01T11:57:00.000-04:002007-10-01T11:57:00.000-04:00I'm not Catholic, but have developed such a wonder...I'm not Catholic, but have developed such a wonderful appreciation for the Rosary and some of the traditions of the Catholic Church since becoming friends with several Catholics.
