I made these favors for my friend's daughter's HS graduation party. They are favor boxes (from Michael's) filled with Red Hots (her favorite candy...which happen to be her school's colors) and sealed with a label. I tied it up with red ribbon and slipped a wish ticket under the knot. All of the guests will be asked to write their wish for Sarah on the back of the ticket and deposit it in a jar. Won't that be a nice present for Sarah...all the good wishes of people who love and care for her together in a jar for her to see anytime she likes?
This same idea would be lovely for a wedding, birthday, and shower. When a friend popped in the cottage yesterday, she was so taken with this idea that she decided to use it for her daughter's graduation luncheon with her friends and their mothers. Each girl will have a box that says Congratulations personlized with their name and they will each get enough tickets to write their wishes to each other. They'll collect the wishes in the favor boxes at the end of the luncheon.
**Edited to add: The boxes are 2" x 2". I made the labels by printing a page of 6 up, putting them through the Xyron with repositionable adhesive, and then cutting them into 2" x 4" labels. The calligraphy font is called Cezanne and it is based on Cezanne's signature and handwriting. You can find it here: www.myfonts.com.

Very pretty! I love the wish ticket ideas! So clever and thoughtful.
That is a lovely idea! They look very pretty!
My husband & I did something similar for his neice's wedding back in February. I made a lovely (if I say so myself)decorated jar, left the jar, roll of wish tickets, & pen on the gift table and everyone left their wish for the new couple in the jar.
Another idea: In January, we made the decision to move to Maryland at the end of school year. I made a "wish" jar that is kept on the kitchen counter & our girls write various thoughts/wishes about moving & drop them in the jar. As my husband or I read them, we try to grant them. Such as, "I'm going to miss tennis camp, I wish I could take tennis this summer." I looked into where she could take the lessons near our new home & she is all signed up.
Such a wonderful idea. Thanks:)

What wonderful favor boxes, I wish I had seen this prior to my son's graduation this past Sunday. The wish ticket on the top was just the right touch. I'll be going to Silver Bella too and found you in the data base. I'll be adding you to my Bloglines so I don't miss out on your post. Looking forward to meeting you in person.
