I love my birthday so much that I can't fit all the celebrating I need to do in just one day. So all month long I do fun and self-rewarding things. Today I'm going to have lunch with my friend Joan.
To help kick off the birthday month, I bought these:

There is, at this moment, a mourning dove cooing outside. He is sitting on the grill out on the deck. I love it. I hope he comes back every morning to sing me a birthday song. That would be such a nice gift.
Yesterday at the cottage was so busy! I loved it but that meant that I couldn't sit and write the long blog post that I'd promised. Too, I forgot my camera. I brought all sorts of things to photograph to show you but without the camera that was quite impossible. I have lots to do today but hopefully I'll be able to do a little photoshoot of the things I've made including: paperweights, footstools, spring things in little baskets, new button bracelets and those humpty dumpty lamps!
