gratitude

My neighbor across the street was killed in a car accident while visiting friends in Colorado this past weekend. The driver swerved to keep from hitting a deer and the car went off the road, 350 feet into a ravine. It's just so tragic. I think of his wife and 2 small children and wonder how she will muster the strength to go on and eventually live a normal life again. But she will, I know it. And I would too, somehow, if it happened to Rich.

Take a moment today to consider your life and how really wonderful each day is that we are given. Even if you are so busy that your mind is whirling, step outside, take a deep breathe, and be grateful. Each day is a gift. Tell your loved ones that you love them. Not because it might be the last thing they hear from you but because you do. What is love if it is not expressed?

Wonderful, Amy. Great thing to think about today - and every day.

That was beautifully said - and something we should do everyday!
